CILT Project Manager Emeritus

Linda Shear
SRI International

Linda Shear was CILT's Project Manager from 1998 to 2001, responsible for coordination and management of Center activities. At SRI she works as an evaluator and learning consultant, helping public and private sector clients to understand and maximize the classroom effectiveness and learning outcomes of the programs they deliver. Recent projects have ranged from systemic change and new small schools to handhelds in the classroom and environmental science inquiry. Other areas of research focus include teacher professional development, processes of curriculum enactment, and design of learning environments to support the needs of language learners.

In a prior life, Linda was a technology consultant and executive educator with Price Waterhouse and with Lotus, with a primary focus on the business and organizational aspects of information technologies. Linda has an MA in Education in Math, Science, and Technology from UC Berkeley.
